On-Ramp – The Beginner Class

Once you’ve decided that CrossFit is right for you, you will be required to participate in a minimum of four (4) beginner sessions before being able to join the regular group classes.

The focus of these sessions is to ensure proper form and execution of the 9 essential Crossfit exercises, which will lead to a much more positive, long-term CrossFit experience.

Squats Deadlifts Press
Front Squats Sumo DL High Pull Push Press
Overhead Squat Cleans Push Jerk

 

By the time you’re done with these four sessions, you will have gained knowledge and ability in the fundamental CrossFit movements, basic conditioning and proper techniques as well as knowledge of flexibility training and healthy eating habits.

Many of the movements that are done in this level may be unfamiliar. To learn more about the fundamental movements and exercises, click here. You may repeat the on ramp sessions as much as you feel necessary in order to feel comfortable with all movements.
