With this workout we think it is a Perfect time to Officially introduce our new coach Emily Cook. She is our resident B.A.B when it comes to the Barbell

I am sure most of you have seen her around or even had the pleasure of having her coach a few classes.. While I encourage everyone to say hello and ask her your own random question we took the liberty to ask a few “basic” ones ..

  1. Name: Emily Cook (aka emcookie) 

  2. Birthday and place: 10-21-1992 Jackson CA 

  3. When you start crossfit and why:  Nov. 2014- I needed a hobby and someone told me to try a class. I went in for a Saturday morning class and never looked back.

  4. Favorite thing about coaching: Seeing progression and PRs of clients :) Even just getting a first box jump or double under. I think I get more excited than they do.

  5. Favorite lift and why: Snatch. I love how technical it is. You not only have to be strong but technique will get you so much further.

  6. Random ass fact about you: I am the oldest of 4 siblings.

  7. How has crossfit affected your life: In every way possible. Happier, stronger (mentally, and physically), confidence.
